back home and back at work

the drive was a drive.......left at 2:30 Friday......bathroom/gas stops along the way, stopped for a 1.5 hour power nap at a virginia rest area, breakfast with Pedro at South of the Border.......stop at Bucees in FLA, made it to our place in Kissimee around 530pm

games all week were a mixed bag.......DD1 is playing the season on a torn hip labrum, so she looked very good at times, other times the pain is clearly effecting her.......highlight was a 2-4, 2 double, 4 RBI day vs Concordia/Chicago, including a bases loaded, walk off double in the 5th......also made a nice throw across the diamond to double a girl up trying to go 1st to 3rd on a bunt

she missed 2 full games, and another where she only played the field.....her roster is light (2 stayed back in Boston, and they are going to be light/young all year........by the end of the week, it was clear that pitchers getting no games off (had to play the field when not in the circle) was having an effect....

all in all was a good week........bloodies at Legends was a nice way to end the week haha

good day/night at Disney Springs, the younger 2 got to do a day of Disney, warm weather was nice, watching the kid play is alway a plus, although this year is going to be a grind for her

next year get to watch two play, HS ball starts next Monday, the drive home sucked........back to work and waking up to 33 degrees was not fun, either.....

Good recap, best of luck with the rest of the season. Are they serving Bloody's at Legends Field? The Yuengling's there are always welcome! Weather has been off and on out here...hoping for solid FL sunshine while we're there!

Gearing up to head down that way this coming weekend. Looking forward to watching my twins play live instead of thru some weak video. They've played a really tough schedule so far (domes, turf, top teams, injuries and some persistent rust) and we're hoping those issues are over and can apply the lessons learned. Senior year...hoping they make the most of it!

full bar at legends.....bloodys were solid, the kid has a heavy hand, so you don't have to spring for the double lol
