The 16U & 18U Pony National Softball Tournament held in Sterling, Va August 4-10 would like to announce a new component of the 8 game guarantee tournament. This year, PONY Softball will partner with Elite Training to provide a Prospect Evaluation camp held on Tuesday August 6 that will be followed by a set of games played that evening coached by college coaches with the events sponsored by PONY and USA Elite Training.
The event includes:
- Player skill evaluation in their primary position and hitting
- Slow motion analysis of player swing or pitching
- Games will be played using a modified format to provide for fair playing time.
Players will be placed on a team for game - with a minimum of 2 innings at their primary and 1 inning at their secondary position
Games coached by current and former college coaches.
- Athletic Testing
Lower body and upper body strength, running times, overhand throwing times and pitching speeds.
College coaches committed to the event are:
