Going to do this a year from now, we have been throwing the big ball a little bit. Just trying to make it not feel so weird when the time comes.

In our town we, hopefully, ease into it a little bit. 5th/6th uses the 12" ball/40' (with, probably, more pitching innings going to the 6th graders) but a lot of the 5th graders will stick with 10u and the 11" ball for travel in the summer.

Here they don't play school ball until 7/8 grade. If you play travel your first time would be first year 12u. which would be 6th grade for most girls.
