We'll be there waiting after long years of griding but also know this is the beginning of the journey not the end and that many great 2026 athletes will be recruited in the months and years ahead. Chime in if you are in the same boat and advice from the veterans welcome.

It looks like they will be waiting a little longer. The NCAA dead period goes through 9/3/24 this year.
I believe that is for in person conversation and visits not phone calls.

Ok, I heard the 3rd for phone contact. I wonder how many coaches do not know the rules either.

I can say with confidence that the coaches know the rules.
You would hope so, but I would bet quite few either don't fully understand them, or they don't follow them.
I remember one of the top 24 pitchers announced her commitment on 9/1/22 to an SEC school. It's almost as if the deal was in place before that day.
