Anyone familiar with setting up a scholarship?

Does anyone have experience setting up a scholarship fund?

I don't, however, in our area there is one group that manages most of the individual scholarships around here. My son won 2 small scholarships from 2 different groups and both ended up being run by this one foundation. My guess is that most communities have such a group. If you can identify this group, they would probably be the best place to go with questions.

How do you mean "setting up a scholarship fund?" Are you referring to a scholarship that others can earn or are you talking about setting one up for your dd? The wife and I set one up for our dd when she was born and so, there are so many options out there. There are even deals you can make within your state for state institutions. Otherwise, perhaps the guidance department of your local high school can send you in the right direction. They deal with scholarships both community and at the university level and so, they might know who to contact.
