Tournament! My kids always write nice little notes to me on mothers day - I'll take that over a brunch any day. I love to garden, but usually need inspiration around this time of year, when spring planting and spring sports season collide. DH got me a great book called "The gardener and the grill" - perfect for anyone who loves to garden and has maybe picked up a fancy new DFP endorsed smoker, ha ha
I give the day off. League game Friday night, league game Saturday afternoon. Bought some necklaces for the moms that their daughters can present to them after the game Saturday. I normally do roses also but may back off that this year because it was spo hot last year, they practically died before being handed out.
DW: I was thinking for Mother's Day we could spend Saturday Night at a Hotel, go out to eat, kids can swim, etc., and then we can go out for Breakfast Sunday Morning; then for later on my Parents invited us over for dinner.
ME: Ummmm....I'm working Saturday Night & all day Sunday...
