Probably the least surprising news given the SEC/ESPN media contract(s).
ESPN, and in particular ESPN+, broadcasts pretty much every conference's games. You think Oklahoma and Florida State don't get enough coverage?

I think Ole Miss is really the only questionable one. Their RPI is 44th. The next lowest is Kentucky at 30th. Yes Utah and Cal should be in. Cal has the 25th best RPI. I'm not really seeing a team who was left out that was more deserving than Ole Miss. Texas Tech RPI was 37th so they'd maybe be the 1 team.

This is where the politicking comes out. Look at Florida State's seeding versus Alabama's. A mediocre Alabama is left off the hook just like last year's laughable Alabama regional which was designed to let Alabama survive while Fouts got better.

Post-Mortem after Regionals: 7/13 of SEC teams advance. Final 16 includes SEC, Big 12, ACC and 2 teams from soon to be defunct PAC 12. No mid majors advance. If you push it forward a year, 12/16 are SEC or ACC, and 3/12 Big 12 and 1 Big 10. Committee got it right?

Bumping this up...how'd the SEC do? Did they end up with the most teams in the CWS? I'm still catching up on games.
