our HS program just won it's 50th straight today......3rd time in Maine this has happened, 66th team nationwide to have done it

DD1 was there for 2 years and 36 of those

DD2 has been there for all 50, caught and called pitches in 49 (we gave her one gimme game off this year)

she had a day today.......interviewed really well, too

Congratulations. That is hard to do. In 1990 and 1991. those two baseball teams I helped coach won 64 games in a row. It was a pretty neat ride. Some guy named Cliff Floyd hit a double when we were intentionally walking him to beat us in the state championship game of 1991. We won state in 1990. Enjoy every minute of it. Those players will talk about it the rest of their lives.
