DD continued her bat test tonight and the clear winner was a 2012 34/24 Xeno. Figured since it was last year's model I'd be able to hop on Ebay and get one for $200 or so. There were no 34/24s, but a 33/24 was going for $385 and there were still 10 minutes left in the auction. Holy cow. When did the 2012 Xeno become the 2004 RT?? Tried a bunch of other sites and it appears that this is now a very rare bat. Strange...

The 2011 is the same bat, might get a better deal.
Depends who you ask. The most common answer I got from LS was that all 3 years are the same bat with different graphics.

Curious - what data made it a winner?
RB - see my thread about the bat wars, Miken vs. Onex. I listed my DD's 10 swing average with several different bats towards the end of that thread. A few days after I posted that the coach had her swing a few different models, including a 2012 Xeno, and that one tested out the best. As i mentioned several times, measuring the ball speed off a bat is a bit tricky so the results should be taken with a large grain of salt.
The 2013 Xenos are all over Ebay with a "buy it now" option in the low $200s. But I can't find a 2012 Xeno for less than $299. Something must be going on. Anecdotal evidence that the 2012s are superior??

While not having seen the 2012 in action I have always heard this to be the case as well.
I think the 2011's go for around $150
