We'll be there as well. Looks like it should be a fun time except it's supposed to be in the upper 90's Monday and Tuesday, something we haven't seen yet this Summer.
Good Luck!
I really like my Boombah Rage Turf shoes. Fortunately for me, there's a retail store close by so that I can avoid the shipping costs (which are kind of high unless you buy more than one pair of shoes). This is my third season with the shoes and they've held up well...very comfortable. They're...
In years past, we've used local sporting goods stores with decent results, although our choices were very limited. The biggest complaint was always the fit of the pants, especially for the older girls.
This year we went out on a limb with an out of state supplier I ran across on Facebook...
It was a great camp, I only wish it could have been a session longer so that they were able to get some more reps in (but that's what the week long camp it for). The instructors were great. You can definitely see the love and passion Jay has for teaching the catchers! I'm even more impressed...
New England Catching Camp for us this weekend. I've been waiting months for my DD to attend. Unfortunately, I'm more excited than my daughter. I'm hoping that changes as the weekend progresses.
We've used Twin City Prosport Lightweight Tube Socks the last two years and the girls love them. They're a dri-fit material, however, thick enough to be durable and light enough to not bunch up. My daughter is still wearing last season's now for practices. No holes whatsoever.
I've found...
I really like my daughter's Wilson Pudge bag.
One large space on top
Compartments on each side for shin pads (these don't interfere with the main compartment storage)
Room for 4 bats
I see them listed on Amazon, Epic Sports, Cheapbats.com. There are a few color choices available.
2014 was a memorable year for us...our first year of travel ball (10U) and three things come to mind.
1 - Our first tournament championship. After two years of squeaking out a win or two in a tournament, the team finally blossomed and put things together to win their first tournament.
2 and 3...
Dave,
My daughter will be attending, in fact, we mailed the check in as soon as the Chicago camp was publicized. I only wish the camp was a little closer to home. My daughter plays 11U.

Just curious, how old are your DD's that are using this helmet. At first inspection, they seem a bit heavier than some of the others. My DD is 10 and I was a bit hesitant to purchase one. On the other hand, the safety aspect is quite appealing and worth that extra perceived weight.
Thanks!
No need to rotate things.
Check out The Virtual Weber Bulletin Board - An Online Community for Weber Grill Fans for a ton of info regarding use of a Weber smoker, especially useful for rookies.
Our catchers have the Wilson Pudge Bag. So far so good. One huge main compartment, pockets on each outer side for the shin pads, separate bat compartment, as well as a few smaller flap-type pockets on the outside for batting gloves and such.
It's kind of ironic that my first post on the site is in regards to smokers.
I'm going to submit my vote for a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker. I purchased mine off of Craigslist last summer and I love it. It burns charcoal which allows portability. It also holds temperature great. Weber just made...
