Bunting using only one hand?!?!
I have a 12u player who is trying to bunt using only one hand?! When I asked what she was doing she informed me that her catching coach who plays for a local commuinty college is teaching her to bunt with one hand because thats how lefty batters in college do it..... Should she pitch inside or outside???
DDs 2000 team will be facing a 1999 team that will light you on fire with their bats in about 3 hours. My question is with a power hitter should she throw inside at the hands and try to jam them or try throwing off the plate?? I say inside, the other coach says outside.... Give me ideas...- Momof#34

DD lifting up on her toes when swinging?!?
So about a month ago my DD (12u) developed a hitch in her swing.... She is lifting up on her toes as she swings the bat?!? She doesn't do it every time but enough that it's noticable and it's really taking her power away! She has always made good solid contact but since this issue has started...- Momof#34

Any Stregth and Conditioning Ideas During The Offseason For 12u Player??
I'm looking for ideas/recommendations on strength/conditioning for my DD during these 3 months of offseason. She is a 2000 (12u), very solid 5'2, 125 lbs. How Close To The Plate Should A Batter Be??
Last night during practice my daughters coach kept telling her to move towards the plate.... My DD is 5'1" with a 32" bat and he has her about 2 inches off the plate?!? Pitching Sequence.....Any Suggestions
DD is not real fast, clocked in at about 42mph using a radar gun. She has great accuracy though, shes probably the most hittable but walks the least amount of batters. Help With Seeing The Ball Earlier
