The NY team is Empire State Huskies National 14U. They won’t start until the summer as 8th graders play HS ball in NY.
Delaware team is Empire State Huskies Premier. They may be the better team. Tough to say.
But sometimes they combine the two teams as well.
That was the Empire State Huskies South team, which is a great team, plus a couple guests from the NY team. It’s mostly the old Diamond State Ducks team that was one of the best around.
Rock team was the older team. About 6 girls are 2028s, although one should probably be a 2027. One of the...
You can see what teams are ranked on Facebook for free as they tag them in the comments and the rankings are just in groups.
Stupidity annoys more me, and if my DD’s team gets ranked #1 in the region, it will still annoy me.
My DD’s team will probably be ranked #1 in the region, and that will...
Not the point, nor funny. New management came in and promoted all these changes and they’ve shown to be incredibly poor at one of their first endeavors, which is the simple task of ranking teams. Given so many public resources like Tourney Machine and GameChanger, this should be pretty easy to...
USSSA has several regional tournaments at the end of the year that are considered nationals. Other organizations such as PGF and Alliance have one national tournament at the end of the year. These 2 are considered the best ones.
But any end of the year double elimination week long...
There is a local team with 6 2028s and 6 2027s on the list.
Extra Innings also has a different local B level team with a 14-12 fall record ranked higher than national teams from some strong organizations like the RI Thunder and Ohio Outlaws.
Somehow the 2028 team rankings are already worse than individual rankings 3 days in. A team that finished 2nd at USSSA nationals and played PGF Nationals didn’t get ranked in the top 25 in Region 1, while numerous B level teams did. 3-4 other solid PGF teams also got left out. 🤦♂️
An ACC team was in town to play a local mid-Major. The 2nd ACC pitcher to come in to close out a close game was throwing between 60-62mph. She also threw an offspeed pitch at 56mph. Speeds were from the radar the ACC team was using.
Jen teaches each girl differently and tailors things to their natural motions and strengths. She is also always learning and evolving.
See two of her pitchers in the same game and you’d never think they go to the same pitching coach. Different motions, different types of pitches thrown...
And Bandits finished 3rd and RI 4th. We were 1-0-1 in pool, beating Vipers and tying Bandits.
We were up 2-1 on Vipers in last inning in bracket and blew it.
The team that won it was ridiculously good, though. They won 10-1 in finals and 7-0 in semis. They were a group of 8th graders from...
She is with the LD NJ 13-u gold team, which I think largely serves as the organization’s national team in the age group.
Yes, her new team will also be at the Bandits tourney in Kentucky later this month.
The team will mostly have 3 pitchers, so she’ll get plenty of time. The one girl is on the older team and will play HS, but will join us for Sparkler, but then the last girl that pitched against you won’t be at that tourney,
I’d expect a similar amount of mound time as her old team. And...
Yes, the lefty is very good. My DD just joined the team this winter, so I’m still getting a feel for the new team. The other lefty who came in pitches from the 14u Dukes team.
Yes, I didn’t realize how good the LLG team was until looking through their GameChanger afterwards. My DD shut...
Yes, the 13U NJ team. My DD pitched the next game we won vs LLG Wools. If you watched the pitchers warm up, she was the smaller girl. I was talking to a bunch of the parents from your team about Super Selects before the game actually.
This was her at the tournament.
