If the bat is performing as well, but simply sounds different, yes - get on with hitting and forget the sound. If I am spending $499 for a bat (more than previously), I am not ignoring a significant - electronically documented - drop in performance from that product. Nowhere else would I simply...- Broke Dad

2022 ghost - lost its “sound”
Our new GA 2022 has a "Thud" sound instead of the "crack" sound of the 2021. It also produces about 6-7 MPH slower exit velocity (on our local Hit Trax). Ohers on here have explained that any GAs do have a break in period and that the sound and MPH impact will improve/change as it breaks in.- Broke Dad

My daughter's Easton Ghost Advanced 2021 model recently gave up the ghost (outer skin coming apart - bat cracking).
