Wooden bats?
Just curious, does training with a wooden bat translate in softball like it does in baseball? I dont mean a camwood or any other type of “trainer” bat for bat speed, had path, etc. Im talking about a drop 8, 9, or 10, wooden fastpitch bat that has a smaller sweet spot than composite bats. Too many pitchers?
Looks like our 10u team will have 5-6 pitchers on the roster for the fall. All of them will be second year 10u and are all athletes. They are all very good at other positions so we need them there, they just also happen to be very good pitchers also. My question is what is the best way to handle...- Ace_88

Too early to worry?
My DD is an 8u player on one of the best A class teams in our area. Playing time has never been a major concern for her as she does a lot of side work and keeps improving drastically which keeps her on the field My concern is that the development of the team as a whole (and even some girls)...- Ace_88
