Is hitting off a pitching machine necessary?
Just a matter of coach's preference. I prefer it, because at some point the girls have to learn to hit fast moving objects... you can "tee" a swing to death. Help with lazy habits!
Coach's perspective: She's 11, and has no idea how to manage her time with consistent patterns to achieve something. "Wanting to improve" and "get better" are just answers she thinks you want to hear when you ask her. Of course kids want to get better when asked, but do they have life...- hatter1998

I assume by original you mean to say the team that is coached by the owner of the organization? So your conclusion then is, don't play for any nationally branded teams unless that team is coached by the owner?- hatter1998

Still not convincing using examples of other programs in other states, seems like a weird way to compare. Unless that team claims outright to be 'just as good' as the original, whatever that means, why is it relevant to say because they are an expansion team its probably lipstick on a pig...- hatter1998
