Pitcher hopping
I am a 22 year varsity highschool head coach. The pitch is illegal as the drag foot must be in contact with the ground. Talk to the umps before the game and mention that it’s a concern and you would be grateful if they watch for ut- Coach Gold

Do your players really hit >.600?
I've been coaching HS varsity Softball for 22 years. won 4 conference Championships and have been to the state Tournament 20 times. I've only had one player ever hit 600 and that player went on to play D-3 softball. There are no official scorebooks so what I may consider and out/error another...- Coach Gold

Need Advice from HS Coach Regarding HS / Travel Tournament Conflict
I am a high school softball coach for 22 years in the State of MA. It is against the MIAA rules to miss a game or practice for another sporting event.
