Fixing early stride
Trying to fix timing issues. She was always late before and now she's always really early. We've been working on getting better coil and some separation and she's finally getting at least a little but since she's so early she drops her elbow and when she resets she's flat with the barrel. Still having trouble getting separation between upper and lower body
We've really just been working on sequencing so far and off a tee and with side and easy front toss she'll get her hands back during her stride but whenever she faces live pitching she never really gets her hands back (and sometimes starts moving her hands forward during her stride). How do I get my daughter to relax her muscles while pitching?
So my 9yo daughter wanted to pitch this year and her coach uses Phil Schoenberg's teaching style. She's improved a lot but she gets so stiff in her movements down the back of the arm circle.
