Costs of playing
my teams intial cost is $200.00. this covers five tournaments, one uniform, insurance and 12 games in a travel team league. we had an additional $30.00 for our second uniform for a total of $230.00. Four of our tournaments are local and we had one that was two hours away. this helped keep down...- bgecoach

Stupidest parents/coaches you've ever seen
my dd was pitching in a fallball rec league a few years ago against a team that had a few younger girls on it. my dd was 15 and they were probably 12/13 or so. well one of the girls is on deck and just crying her eyes out. the coach comes out and says she is scared to death to go up and bat...- bgecoach

Parents!!!!!!!
i have a girl on my team that is a great player and great young lady. she has already signed to play college ball next year so she can play. the only problem is her parents... we pulled her out of a game and her mom went ape@#*&, starting flinging her chair around and cussing. we only carry 12...- bgecoach

high school pitching distance - 40 or 43 feet?
interesting subject... we had an opportunity to play in a really nice 18u tournament this weekend that was played on a college field with the rubber left at 43'. my dd pitched the first game and she really struggled with it. none of her pitches were working very well because they all started...- bgecoach
