Our infielders all wear masks whether they want to or not, optional for the outfield. At this point it is just plain stupid to not wear a mask in the infield, there are zero legitimate reasons to not wear one even at the college level.
As a coach, you are assuming the role of a responsible adult for any players under the age of 18 when they are at your practices, games, tournaments, or whatever unless the parents are in the immediate vicinity. Lying to a parent to conceal any sort of activity or issue could and should lead to...
No conversation, just policy. Any personal relationships are to be left in the parking lot. Whether you're dating a teammate or someone else, it has no business in the dugout, on the field, or anywhere in between those when you are at a team event.
Handled any other way it will inevitably...
Are boyfriends allowed to attend practice, tournaments, or games and be in the dugout? No? Then any inter-teammate relationships should be kept out of team activities also. Don't care if you're gay, straight, or want to marry a tree, the players are there to play a sport and that is it.

Again, you can quote the rules all you want but unless the...
Really haven't seen a "Correct Answer" since the whole situation is up to the umpire's discretion at the time. Yes, the rule is active anytime the situation is set up to allow it but still isn't actually happening until an umpire makes the call. If they do retroactively enforce the rule and...
Well if it is anything like MN there is a constant umpire shortage so pretty much everyone pays the same otherwise the umps just go to a different tournament or association and ump for their games.
Cheer for your team, not against the other. Any team allowed to use negative chants directed at opposing players tells me all I need to know about their coach's character.
