My daughter's main positions are middle infield(mainly short) and she pitches. GP plays SS, pitcher. DD sits 4-5 innings a tournament when GP is there. Usually sits 1 or 2 when she's not. It doesn't affect mound time much, if at all. DD is bumped into a 2nd base rotation with 2 other girls bc GP...
Supposedly they can't afford to. The frustrating part is the promises to join the team after fall, after spring...she tried out for her team and signed the contract AFTER our tryouts(that she didn't come to)
I'm not sure what to do at this point. Just seeing if anyone has encountered a situation like this before. I've seen guest players and my daughter has guest played also..but never for a year, and always when a team was short.
12u, she's a good player and fits in well with the team. She only comes to tournaments, no practices. She does take significant time away from the team. She only sits 1 or 2 innings per tournament.
