ASA should rethink some other things too...I think that all of the competition that has popped up lately is going to force ASA to rethink some of the EBF locations they use to host their events...
- Moneyball - prize money funded by extremely high entry fees (i.e. $4k last year).
- 18U Gold was hurt by ASA's own JO Cup - only 53 teams at 18G Nats last year (including some fill-in teams) instead of the usual 64.
- 16U Gold hasn't taken off like they envisioned - only 33 teams at 16G Nats last year and JO Cup added 16U this year.
I'm curious how Class B Nats are this year since they're now open to travel teams (i.e. no longer have to be affiliated with a league).
