In the last paragraph, you mention how running certain (offensive, especially) trick plays could be poor sportsmanship. If you are playing a team much worse than you, run those trick plays if you can early in the game, when it's still close. It's a good opportunity to get live reps on complicated plays, and even if you end up winning 15-0, nobody's going to get mad at you for trying it when you're up 2-0.
