Pretty good IR form. Great front side resistance....very smooth.

From a purely technical point of view, perhaps she needs a little more bend in the elbow. Not sure about ball position at 9.

Glad you posted this... watching her game last night it looked like her arm was dead straight and minimal to no BI, was really surprising.

I’ll try to find some video from that game last night, she’s a stud regardless of form

Fouts has her palm facing 3rd base at 9 o'clock. Meanwhile she threw a shutout in a Super Regional as a Freshman.

Of all her mechanics....it is that FSR that put her into an elite program.

That and the fact that she is 6'0 tall and is incredibly athletic. That also has a little something to do with it.

Her arm positioning looks a lot like DD. DD’s arm looks almost straight until 9:00, but she gets some bend and whip through release. Even though her arm looks straight, it isn’t locked—she’s very long and loose through her pitch. It may not be optimal, but it works for her.
