Thanks, Amy. Yep, she's pitching just as I thought. She's also definitely NOT leaping.

Looks so smooth and effortless. And it looks like a curveball...

Last one looks like a curve, she's doing the "hello elbow" on the first two. She's still not opening all the way, but she never did. Seems to work for her and her team has such a solid defense anyway, I'm sure we'll see them at the WCWS again this year.

Look close at her release, she snaps with IR and then goes to the hello elbow well after she performs IR release. Notice how the plam is facing the ground after the snap. She is NOT doing the push it down and wave it up, even though she has been talk to finish with the hello elbow.

She looks as though she has refined her style from last year. The NCAA blues were eating her alive with IP calls (and many other pitchers too) last season. There hasn't been alot so far this year, but there has been some; more than what I'd call "normal". Does anyone know if the NCAA has loosened up a bit, or have all the coaches and pitchers gotten the message and fixed mechanics?
