Moose Fastpitch Softball invites committed and experienced players to try out for a new 18U travel team that will be based in Northwest DC. The tryouts will take place at Deal Middle School, on Wednesday, July 29, at 5:30 pm, and Thursday, August 6, at 5:30 pm.
Division 1 George Washington University assistant coach Lauren Grant, a four-year player for Purdue University, will coach the team, with the assistance of other staff members and former GW players. The team will play a competitive schedule of high-level tournaments, but the development of each player will also be a priority for the coaching staff.
The team will play a full practice schedule, tournaments in the fall, followed by indoor winter workouts through January, and a full schedule of tournaments in the summer.
