Sounds like this coach is in it for the wrong reasons, and if he were in my rec league he would be dismissed immediatly. What a jackwagon!!!!!!

Just something to think about.

This is a news article, facts get twisted more times than not. Also its one sided from a parent. If the coach did cut her for the wrong reasons I agree with most of you. But I'm sure the coach would disagree with the parent, whether true or not. There's just no way to know all the facts. Plenty of players get cut for bad attitudes and other reasons.

In addition to Anna, one other girl and other boys that had played on the team are reportedly being cut to make the team more competitive

I agree that trying to field a more competitive team at 7 is crazy.


I also have known a few crazy parents that loose their common sense when their DD or DS get into team sports.

My mistake I thought the crux was cutting a girl from the team. Especially after reading this thread.

Actually if you listen to the video you will hear that her brother is Almost 6, meaning some of them are 5.
