LXT or Meta or Something Else

Just my opinion after comparing it to other bats once we got 500 solid hits on the barrel. My view is that what’s popular doesn’t have a lot to do with performance.

LXT or Meta or Something Else

The fact that it’s but more obscure. I actually haven’t seen any college teams use it. I’ve seen a bunch use the CBRN-1 but not the PWR CRBN. I think it’s got better tech than most based on how it performs but its not one of the 3 brands everyone gravitates to for one reason or another.

LXT or Meta or Something Else

That was a big reason I bought it…

LXT or Meta or Something Else

No one uses it here either. Bought one on a flier from Core and ended up being the best decision we have ever made.

    Mizuno Power Carbon. Hands down.

    Stepping up to a -11

Update (if anyone cares). Got a Spryte 31/19 from a local store that told us a drop -11 was too heavy for her (after watching her swing a bunch of bats in the store) and a Power Carbon 31/20 from Core. She used the Spryte a few days but her swing always looked weird with it. Then we moved to...

Player responsibility on grounder to 2nd w/ runner on 2nd - High School

The fence is the backup. Don’t love the 1st to 3rd throw unless LF is already standing behind 3B. Would rather go to the circle and focus on the next one unless that’s the winning run.

    Player safety when injured

    I would have called 911…

It’s good to know what you want, I guess.

    Looks the approach isn’t working yet… https://ladyhawksfastpitch.org/teams/14u-carter/

Player Age when 1 grade lower

Do we see the same issue in baseball with summer cut-offs? Just wondering what the data says.

Player Age when 1 grade lower

Okay, so if we all know this is causing bias there is actual data to support it, why are all associations softball ages not aligned to grade (like USA)?

    Stepping up to a -11

I really, really appreciate all the guidance. I’ll add a once and see how we do. Now, for the fun part!!! Which -11 should we get??? She’s a first year travel ball player U10, U12 next season and it’s her 3rd year of little league. Still working on contact, but she’s getting there. Takes...

    Stepping up to a -11

The Camwood bat is a +6.

    Stepping up to a -11

We do 12 bottom hand and 12 top hand with the Camwood one-hander and 12 with a 30/36 Camwood two-hander 5 times a week. Sort going from a drop 12 to an 8 seems like a big jump. Worried about going to an 11!!!

    Catchers mitt for 8U?

To quote my daughter’s catching coach: “Take her to the store any buy whatever is the easiest for her to close”

    Stepping up to a -11

My daughter is 10, just over 5’ and 100 lbs. She’s traditionally been a slower swinger focusing on contact but has made huge leaps and now puts the ball in play often. The last year and a half she’s been using a DeMarini Spryte 30/18. Since she’s now making better contact and she’s gotten...
