I had similar problem this summer. Once in Newberry, Fl and then again at Atlanta Legacy. Thought issue in FL was the area being somewhat remote and maybe the cellular performance.
When it repeated in GA I knew it was on their side. I do agree they have good customer service and they are...
Switched to mevo this weekend. I was using iPhone 6 but recently began dropping the stream and freezing. Maybe it has been dropped to many times.

That is the same experience my DD had the couple of visits we had with Rita. No run and gun. I had my own pocket radar and it got the same reading as her jugs gun.
I think the competition part was helpful,as the girls didn’t have to focus on the fact they were being gunned. They were just...
Correct the times DD posted for the site were max effort for speed and not for any level of accuracy. The difference for DD from her numbers at the facility and in game were in the 2-3 range as mentioned above.

DD has been there a couple of times. I held pocket radar next to the JUGS gun they were using and got the same number. But that was just our experience.

I started wearing crocs to catch years back to protect the toes. With shin guards and a mask it’s enough to prevent most injuries.
But I agree once they throw north of 60 with movement its tough so best to get a catcher or a 9 hole.

Got dd a custom marucci back in 2019. It held up ok but the red faded pretty bad pretty quick. Went to a Wilson A2000 and now a pro 44. I may have a slight problem.

I think speed at younger age and lower levels is the lead factor for success since It can intimidate batters. That includes throwing straight gas as well as a good change up. Think of some of those swing and misses you have seen.
Once you get to older ages and high levels the spot and spin take...
DD is not a catcher but travels with catchers bag on planes. Smaller then golf bag so you avoid some additional fees for being oversized.

2 years ago DD (8th grade at the time) had numbness and tingling in right arm during a winter lesson. She had been recovering from a previous injury in her neck and shoulder from a few months earlier.
We took her to local drs for X-rays and found that she had broken her first rib a few weeks...
I signed our team up last week and streamed our games. I used an iPhone 8. I am curious to know more about the AGL camera and advantages to using it over an iPhone

We sent our DD to JMU overnight camp a couple of years when she was 10 and 12u. She went with a couple of team mates and had a great time.

Dd is 14 and took off October (due to an injury) and most of November (season over). Has started back slowly by pitching once a week. This is the longest break she has ever taken from pitching.

That is crazy. I have been recording DD and her team for 2nd year 12u and 1st year 14u. Never had anyone say anything.
Usually talk to another team’s parent doing their recording about their set up.

DD is 13 and does training outside of softball. Her trainers proposed a 2 month break from softball activities last spring promising she would come back stronger afterwards.
She is going to take a 6 week break at the end of this year. Will be first time in 5 years she hasn’t practiced any...
Thank you all for your responses. I am new to the forum this year and I am very impressed by the vast knowledge of the existing members. The feedback from other parents on some of the upcoming challenges my DD will face is a great resource.
We plan to attend the 18u tryouts to get an...
DD has been invited to try out for local 18u team. She is a first year 14u player now. She is close to 6 ft and looks the part but I am concerned it may be to early. Looking for feedback from others as to the pros and cons.

They did become strict on the no coolers but chairs, wagons, and tents were not a problem.
They really should sell water at
Stations not just the concessions stands to help cut down on the lines.
Good luck
