Headfirst Honor Roll camps - thoughts?
I agree with LE. As a rising junior it is a great camp to go to and now is the time. You need to make those relationships with coaches now. I think you get more bang for the buck going to the Headfirst camp, but I would say you'll also probably want to go to the individual camps of the schools...- Sonerai

My DD did it the summer between sophomore and junior year. I think that is the earliest I would go as these schools are very interested in grades. Mound improvements between innings.
Yeah, the first thing my DD does when she comes out to the circle is to dig out the sand/dirt they just filled in the hole between innings because otherwise it ends up in her shoe. She'd rather have a hole than a hole filled with lose dirt.- Sonerai

I agree with ArmWhip. You should switch to IR now. My DD was being taught at 7 (now 16) to throw HE style and she was struggling because she naturally wanted to throw IR.
