Runner at 2nd: Steal on a lazy throw to pitcher, steal on throw to SS, when to steal.
ummmm...Steal the base? I challenge a catcher every chance I get at the 10U level until the catcher shows me she can throw out my runners. I do the same thing at 12U with more focus on just stealing with the quicker runners until the catcher can show me she has the ability to throw someone...- Richards

Fathers Coaching Daughters
The psychological factors is that at this age almost 90% of girls begin to disassociate from their fathers only to come back around at the ages of 18 and 19....its a proven fact and just the opposite for boys in relation to the time frame and the disassociation from thier mother's at this age...- Richards

Slap vs. Drag Bunt Foul 3rd Strike.
ASA Rules..... Confused by the fact that the player never attempted to swing at the pitch but rather just tapped the ball with the bat. To me that's a bunt and on an attempted bunt 3rd strike foul the batter should be out.........however if the player is moving as in slapping but doesn't...- Richards

Too Much?
Her drive is impressive and very commendable especially during the months where she can get outside. Hitting the spots OR learn new pitches
Are you kidding me? Please tell me the 6 to 7 pitches a quality 10U Pitcher has? In any competition if a pitcher is unable to hit her spots on command no matter what the pitch is the pitcher won't be a pitcher to long. Take your time to speak with the PC and see what his/her goals are for...- Richards

If they are true friends and want to continue their daughters efforts in softball I would have you consider this option.
