I know that when my wife was in college, they said never again would a nursing major be allowed to play volleyball. It was stressful for her, but she got through it.
not at all. I know that certain things will be demanding. Not being through the process myself Im not sure what "can" be done and still play softball. Looking for things to stay away from. If she is dead set on a major, there is no way I, or she would let it get between that.
We are a school first, softball second family. Just I know she wants to play, but want to make sure she doesnt end up failing because of a bad choice. She may have to give up softball depending on her major choice.
Starting to look for a college for our daughter. Is there any majors that she should think twice about and playing softball? My wife is an RN and played volleyball and it was very difficult to keep up with clinical and all playing. Our daughter is typical and not sure what she wants to do...
This is my main concern. It's time to be making college decisions. Seems when she pitches, they lose due to errors. Those defensive plays that seem to me easy, are missed.
First year 16u.....changing teams is an option, lower level would not be a challenge or prepare her for college. She did sub a few times last year with good success. Rec league not available in our area without 1.5 hrs travel.
How many pitchers in travel ball just sub for other teams? If your a parent or player has it benefitted you? We are on a team that at the end of this season had 5 pitchers. That really limited the number of times my daughter pitched, that combined with the team just did not perform good...
oh my. coach should of appealed for 2nd base runner to be out. If this was an important game, I dont understand why we didnt go home to get outs?? Or at least get the second run coming in out. We usually have enough parents crying foul that the coach catches on...lol.
lol...not me, I had nothing to do with the game other than watching. And that first part of your statement is opinion and debateable. If no advantage why do it.
I knew of the USA rule, but not the USSSA rule. The tournament we were at was a Perfect Game tournament and it was illegal.
ART 42. Leap Sec 1. A leap is an illegal pitch where the pitcher’s pivot foot fails to slide/drag on the ground and becomes airborne on the initial drive from the...
her "talent" was illegal. Like I previously said when forced to be just somewhat legal, she lost her edge. More balls, and hits given up. Both games I watched were not runaway games, both were low scoring. Defense was great on both teams, so my question was never if one team or the other...
