She started really working on her pushoff yesterday and she started having more fluidity already. Poor thing, her right quad is going to be sore today !
I THINK he means that the "power elbow" is more like pushing the ball to the catcher, shoulder closed, pointing the elbow to the catcher...NOT IR. Thus, the fingers behind the ball creating the 6/12 spin....somewhat of a peel-drop, if you will.
whereas, in the backyard he works IR with her...

I lOVE the "mud pie" analogy...it really fits - we will use it ! Oddly, she seemed to really have decent IR AND a good arm snap going for her from the beginning. If she had maintained that, I think she would have seen a great improvement. This was about the same time she really started...
