I have 3 girls that share one. Throwing hundreds of pitches to 12 girls a week in bp, I don't see a noticible difference in pop between the stealth, xeno, and dd's new freak. I have seen deals on the fp11, not much over $100. I wouldn't hesitate to spend up around $150 on one if we were in the market.
I almost pulled the trigger on one last month. A demo that was in great shape, $90. It was the black and purple -9, if it was a -10 it would be in our bag.
DD loves the Stealth(as does Daddy)...Large sweet spot help out greatly with DDs hits the ball off "the handle"...DD has had the Stealth(31/21) one full season(fall, winter , spring and summer) and it has taken a beating..
The lightest drop for the stealth is the -10. Easton has a bat called the synge in -11.5, but it's nowhere near as good a bat as the stealth IMO. If your DD can handle it, the stealth is a great bat.
I'm not sure about the 2012-2013 stealths, but DD has a 2011 (I think? It's also purple and white.) and it runs very heavy. It's stickered as a 31/21, but our postal scale showed 22.7 ounces. They're fairly common in stores and out at the fields, perhaps you could see if your DD could swing one before you buy? How big/strong is she?
P.S. DD's stealth is a SSR3B like vdubya has pics of below.
indie,
The Stealth comes in -10 or -9. Most eastons run on the heavier side of sticker. I have heard that the fp11st10 is not as great as the older ssr3b. I doubt that is the case, but I KNOW that the ssr3b is phenominal... just bought DD the next size, a NIW ssr3b in 32".
Some weights if interested:
32/23 RT '03=25.04 oz
32/22 SSR3B in wrapper=23.75oz
32/22 Xeno= 22.45oz
31/22 SCN2B= 23.25
31/21 SSR3B= 22.73 oz
31/21 SCN4B= 22.08 oz
DD loves her FP11ST10 (32/22). The weight of this bat is an ounce heavier than stated on the bat. I weighed the bat on a certified scale and it was 23.?? ounces.
