If you recall, she announced last December that she didn't want to play college ball. Well, after a good HS season (well the last 2 months of it), and she's back with TB team...she has been talking/asking more questions about colleges. Last week, she sent emails to 17 different colleges. And yesterday, she asked to go to camp for one that is from 4 - 8 p.m. (except we can't let her...it's 3 hours away, and DH & I can't get away from work to do it). I am thrilled that she is entertaining the idea again. Also, she has changed her career path to medicine, so it's not as intense as engineering but still will be hard. She is looking at mostly D2, D3 and NAIA schools which fits her more. We shall see!! Now the fun begins...again!

Last year one of FSU's outfielders, Kelly Hensley, went on to medical school after finishing at the WCWS- so it can be done even at the D1 level.
Admissions committees like women athletes because it speaks to both to their level of commitment and their time management skills.
