She is turning and going forward.
The barred lead arm can make any TTB mechanics more difficult. Hands to far back, hands to far away from the body, using the arms, etc.
TTB with the hands, back leg pulls the bat around. The hands start off the back shoulder and TTB and end up slightly ahead of the back shoulder. You apply force into the handle, not into the ball. Her swing is very short and it’s worth working oppo for learning.
