I am not sure if this means anything, but if you try one handed drills with a moving ball it is a heck of a lot harder to get a good path to the ball using bottom hand only vs top hand only.. 🤷‍♂️

The physics makes sense in terms of bat speed to have the pivot point as far away from the barrel as possible but you have to barrel up the ball in order for that to matter ;)

I can never find the grip study when I need it, but pretty sure the grips that start below the knob lead to more bat speed/power. I feel like this is a way to get the best of both worlds. You get the top hand as far away from the barrel as possible to get the good bat path and also have a better chance of barreling the ball.

Front elbow helps set the HPP imo which is more bottom hand oriented. Top hand releases the barrel based on pitch location

Where does the bat pivot around?

Is it at the bottom of the bottom hand (knob of the bat)?

Is it in between the top and bottom hand?

Is it above the top hand?

Aren't there at least 2 pivot points? Like a trebuchet? Pivot about the spine AND pivot around the wrist/knob/hands?
