Whats the going rate for hitting lessons now?

~$50 / hr here in MN. Good ones are hard to book because they are in high demand. I agree that if the coach has a wide open schedule it should tell you something.

$65 an hour for private or $40 an hour if we go in a group of 3. Coach is a former high level hitter in college and NPF.

I've paid $35 for 30 minutes the last two years, but it's up to $40 now. This is with the owner of the local hitting facility and he has some fairly high level hitting and coaching experience.

all you got to do is go one discuss fastpitch and youtube and study the swing mechanics. You don't need lessons.

you got a point there but most people don't understand that. How about finding someone to teach your DD hitting who has a masters degree in music.

what a waste. Most pitching lessons are useless. Unless a batter has good hand eye coordination they will never be a good hitter.
