There was a local pitching instructor that taught “California Open Style Pitching”.

He loved to say it.

He was a bit on the Extra Fancy side.

Because why not- Mike Epstein runs a rotational hitting camp. Rotational hitting combines a linear phase (stride), then blocking the front side and rotating around a stationary axis (rotational) when the hitter reaches his "balance point." This hitting instruction has been used around the nation, typical on the West Coast. However, Mike Epstein hitting instructors have been making their way to the East Coast

One of my players asked me if it was ok to go to a hitting coach who taught 'west coast style " hitting. well I have no idea what that might be? can anyone help me out?
