How big is the hand stall? Would this be too much glove for a 10 year old?

I’m not sure about a 10 yr-old. My daughter was 15 when I bought it, and she is 5’-2” tall with her hands on the smaller side.

I tried to take some measurements for you....

that is a killer glove! Both daughters have a Vinci (pitchers) and they have been very happy with it. Tempted as my youngest may have to play first base when not pitching. She wants to play OF when not pitching and not first so I will hold back for now. Just afraid HS coaches will put her at 1st (which she has played) because of her height at 6'0 in cleats....... will think on this and may buy it from you just in case....

My daughter is a catcher and plays 3B as secondary position. She has the Vinci catcher’s mitt and her Vinci fielding glove. Vinci makes great gloves. For catcher’s mitt, my daughter hate to catch with one of those inner gloves to add protection to her hand, and the catcher’s mitt has the most padding of any catcher’s mitt out there.

How does their model 22 all leather compare to a Rawlings HOH or Wilson 2000? I am thinking about getting this glove and 2 fielder's gloves 12" for middle infielders.

I’m not sure, is a matter of preference. For my daughter, and talking about catcher’s mitt (which is very different), she tried the Wilson 2000 and the Vinci catchers mitt JVC-VM 33”. Sold the Wilson and she’s been using the Vinci for the past 3-4 years. She will be using it through college. She got recruited by a little-Ivy D3 college in August... she wants to focus on academics, but wanted to play softball in college... D3 is a great fit for her.

Buy this glove and don’t look back! Their “22” series is steerhide, which I personally prefer over Kip, but that’s just me.

Does this leather compare to one of my Horween steerhide Rawlings......no! But neither does the price! Buy with confidence!

My only complaint with this one, and every Vinci, and now every Rawlings is the lace, they all suck! But that can be easily fixed!
