UTD Asst Coach Passes Away-RIP Abby Sterling

Super sad news. Found out over the weekend that DD's former UTD asst coach passed away. No details as to the cause of death as they found in her bed. My first interaction with Abby left a lasting impression. Abby exuded strength, confidence and positivity. I knew that she could be a head coach in due time and was really great with the players. She was only 27.

It's going to be tough on the current team, but I hope this tragedy unites them and brings them closer.

That's horrible. My daughter's former teammate is committed there for next fall.

Yes, sad news. My daughter attended a camp with her just a few weeks ago, spent a lot of time talking with her, and even took a photo together. Crazy how fast life can change.
