When some school play against each other, it's like being at a high level TB tournament except the players for the TB teams have been split up to play for their respective high schools.

Same here. Some real clashes, with multiple matchups between D1 pitchers and position players, often pitting TB teammates against each other.

I'm happy you have a good situation and hope your DD really enjoys her time there.

Mine enjoyed playing school ball and being in the same category as Friday Night Lights QB1. Signing autographs after games and being a local celebrity of sorts in a community that heavy into HS sports.
