Timing - is it this simple?

I’ve been trying to get my girls to start their swing (or specifically, pick their foot up when the pitcher picks up hers). Does Rachel Garcia do the same, or is it still too varied pitcher-to-pitcher to be this simple?

I think it is ok to pick up the foot early, if she is old enough and strong enough to keep her balance long enough to consistent put her foot down in the right place at the right time.

It’s coiling early, not just picking up the front foot.

As Manny said, don’t worry about the front foot, it knows when to get down.

I think the key is timing the pitchers release at the hip. By timing i mean getting to the loaded launch position at release. Thats what alo is doing.
