I think she is spot on with the "no mechanics" during the game. I think the 2nd biggest takeaway for me is that that type of coaching automatically gets you and player noticed in a negative way. I'm sure she is not the only coach at the NCAA level that thinks that way.

Agree whole heatedly with her. It's so much more fun when the kids learn how to 'play the game' of competition.

So I should be hollering, "level swing, elbow up, don't pull your head, stop dropping your back shoulder, step right toward the pitcher?" LOL
Of course she is right but unfortunately ignorant coaching continues in mass.
