Facebook memory from 11 years ago today, pitching for a French team in the European cup. Be honest, how many here even knew they had fastpitch softball in France, let alone men's fastpitch softball????? This game was the first of the tournament vs. Rome Italy, I cannot remember if we won or lost but I remember it was 1-0 in 12 innings. Obviously 2 powerhouse offensive teams went at it. I'm fairly certain every game I pitched was a 1-0 score and ALL the games went beyond 7 innings. My body still aches, 11 years later.
