We have had 7 or 8 days of rain and rain tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night. Some severe storms. Heat? My area will have had 7+ inches of rain by tonight and since Monday.
The heat is not good.

Where are you? I know she wasn't with me, because i was looking for a catcher. (It's not too bad for me. I only wear a face mask and shin guards and I sit on a stool.)
To sum this up, I was outside for a few minutes just now, and my iPhone got that "triangle warning sign" saying that it was too hot. I came in and put it in the refrigerator.

I lived in east Mesa for four years and loved it coming from the northwest. Golf in the winter and cheap golf in the summer! 
Did not have any kids that played softball then. DD was born in the NW, and it shows when we get over 90. Allstar practice (10u) just started for us. We rotate between two fields. One with LOTS of shade the other with none. It was 83 yesterday and us coaches were still sweating in the shaded field...
