String from Catchers glove

My daughter comes home from this weekend and says.."Dad, a string is hanging oof of my glove" so I asked her to get it for me and this is a few pictures of this little loop hanging out of her all star catcher's glove.

Any idea? should I just stuff it back in? Cut it off?

reach out to our local glove guy but he hasn't responded yet.
