Softball Newbie Bat Recommendations

Sort of off topic, but how long does a Lizard Skin typically last for you guys/gals? I have to put a new one on every 2 or 3 months for DD's BP bat. Is that typical?

We get about a year out of them and my girls play a bunch. What I’ve found is if they get wet, they get slick/hard quick.

We've only owned one Demarini before, a 31/21 CF6 that Anna used in 12U, it was a really great bat! She switched up between it and a 30" Rocketech, talk about two opposite ends of the spectrum!

I know I said -11 minimum, but these -12 Miken's are fantastic starter bats, Anna used a Miken Icon as her first composite and it was bombproof! And....that little bat is still being used!

Not sure why they used that link but if you scroll down on it you will see SB bats that seem reasonably priced.
