Any insight on Softball Factory camps? My DD received an invitation and though I have heard of them I am not really familiar with them. It cost $99 for their basic tryout which includes a written and verbal eval along with her numbers from the tryout. I figured it may be worth it to have the numbers like home to first, pop time, OH velocity, and others as a baseline for improvement but I also don't want to waste money.

I would only recommend a skills camp if your DD was in the "sweet spot" age range for recruiting and several coaches from schools in her Top-10 were going to be in attendance.

The fall OnDeck jamboree in Atlanta may give you more bang for your buck....
