So my dd has 2 Scott infielders masks, the original one is fine, her second one the chin pad fell off right away. Ordered a titanium one, opened the box today and at the bottom layed the dreaded chin pad. Getting frustrated with these things. Is there a better way to attach these things?

I have replaced the Velcro and used a rip it chin pad. DD didn’t like the Schutt pad.
Gorilla Glue velcro. It has a super sicky adhesive and you'll rip the material before the velcro will come apart on it's own. Usually you can find it at a well stocked hardware store or Home Depot.

Yeah DD loved the Schutt over the Rip-it (feels cheep) one and has used for going on 8 years. She is on her second one but current titanium one is 4 years old and we have ordered new guts (sell the package on Amazon) twice and replaced. Both times on the chin pad have replaced their velcro strip with gorilla glue velcro strip and no issues.
