Good for her on a great HS season! Bummed for her about the current diagnosis and best wishes for managing/fixing that. Would all those loose joints have contributed at all to her "whip" when pitching? I'm not trying to be insensitive at all, just curious as we tend to spend a lot of time trying to keep out pitching loose and creating whip with IR.

I was thinking about that when I looked at your post. Funny thing is she looks tight and like she muscles the ball when pitching. We are working on staying loose all the time. I have stepped back and her new coach tells her all the time that she is to tight. She has great location and good movement but 57 on a great day. Her location is really elite but the only thing I would say is elite. She's 5.3 and 145 pounds. Really strong and looks like she would be really tight.

She is tuff as nails but it seems to be mild ankle sprains and she is in severe pain immediately and then swells but didn’t hurt that bad afterwards, which is a symptom of having very loose joints. Never has complained about anything else.

Loose joints can be a symptom of connective tissue disorders which as a group are largely genetic and can have a series of other more serious issues in the future. If the trainer truly thinks she has significantly loose joints in more than 1 location consider having her seen by a genetic specialist to be checked. Nothing that should affect her now just things that need to be screened for in the future if she would have one

I have referred a few people to the post lately and just decided to update on Fathers Day. DD's team won the High School State Championship this year and she was the winning pitcher in both games during the finals. She will be a Senior this upcoming year and has committed to Chipola Junior College. No issues with the hand since seeing the sports chiropractor. Very thankful to the board for helping.
